Makes 3 1-cup milkshakes
2 cups vanilla or chocolate ice cream*
1 cup unsweetened shredded or flaked coconut
1 small ripe banana, cut into pieces
1/2 cup reduced fat or whole milk
Place all ingredients in blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Add additional milk, if needed, to achieve desired consistency. Transfer to thermos or cup. Shake or stir well before serving.
*You may substitute frozen yogurt for ice cream.
